As I reflect on the past year’s challenges and accomplishments, I am reminded of how truly blessed we are. Not only are we exceptional at what we do, but we continue to grow as a team and build lasting relationships that will produce good fruit for many years to come. Our team has consistently performed at the highest levels. Whether it is related to delivering the work program, responding to emergencies, providing customer service, or just handling the normal day to day activities, we never slow down. We press forward, find solutions, and do it all while supporting each other. Having been a Director for a year and a half, I am often asked the question, “Are you settling in and enjoying your job?” This question brings with it the opportunity for reflection and reminds me how grateful I am for the team we have. We have all served in roles we’ve enjoyed more than others, but I have learned that being surrounded by the supportive people on our team brings a level of enjoyment that far exceeds anything a “job” can provide in and of itself. I am humbled just to be a part of this team in any capacity.
Looking forward to the coming year, I know there will be many opportunities for our team to become even stronger, continue building on lasting relationships, and of course be the best and highest performers in the state.
